ABOUT: Saovanee Bigg

I’m a Counseling Psychologist practicing in Bangkok, Thailand.  I provide counseling and psychotherapy to adults and older adolescents, including Thais and expatriates.  I have experience working with a diverse range of clients from around the world.  I welcome all clients, regardless of race, culture, religion, sexual orientation, or gender identity.

I was born and raised in Thailand.  At the same time, I have extensive international exposure from  living and working in the corporate business world both in the U.S. and in Thailand.  My experiences have helped me learn and benefit from two different world views.  Like many people who come from Western cultures, I treasure individual autonomy, self determination and empowerment.  At the same time, I'm proud of my Thai roots and values like respect, gratitude and a regard for the profound value of family life and connections.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions about my training and experience.  In addition to my doctorate in Counseling Psychology, I have an extensive background in marketing.  So, in addition to counseling sessions, I also conduct Strategic Workshop to empower corporate human resource potentials.
